This is your battle crowd, your call to arms. The time for weakness is over. It's time to fight. Welcome to the Manly Catholic. Let's get to work. Hello all and welcome to another episode of The Manly Catholic. I am James, your host, and with me once again in studio, Ryan Flaherty. Welcome back. Hey James, great to be back with you. Well it's good having you on. So ⁓ last time You guys heard Ryan. We had a three parter series. I even released an episode on Friday, which I normally don't do. But ⁓ we wanted to get the Jesse Romero episode out and about and live. So sorry I had to kick you to a Friday episode. Absolutely fine. So ⁓ before we get into the topic for tonight, we are going to start as always in prayer. So we'll start in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. ⁓ God In the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, we call upon thy holy name, and humbly beseech thy clemency that through the intercession of the ever Immaculate Virgin and our Mother Mary, and of the glorious Archangel Saint Michael, thou wouldst vouchsafe to help us against Satan and all the other unclean spirits that are prowling about the world to the great peril of the human race and the loss of souls. Amen. In the name of the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen. So tonight, man, we are going to be talking about ⁓ the five generals. ⁓ so if you guys are familiar at all with Father Ripper, who we mentioned quite a bit on this podcast, free advertising for him. So he in one of his talks, and I'll give you guys a link in the show notes, ⁓ he talks about the five generals of Satan. So for just a little background for you guys, Father Ripper is an exorcist. ⁓ and he has done numerous exorcisms and he gives all these talks about basically his findings. And he has two great books, including this one right here. I'm gonna flash it, Dominion, which is quite thick as you can see, and it's very academic. I think it took me about thirty minutes to get through ten pages, so it's it's rich in depth with a lot of really good content. ⁓ anything about angels and demons that you guys want to learn about, spiritual warfare, I highly recommend this book. But anyways, so in one of his talks he talks about like I said, the five generals ⁓ of Satan. Sometimes it's called the council, sometimes it's called the table. And if think about in military language, I'm not a military man myself. But ⁓ essentially you have, you know, the you have the foot soldiers obviously, which we can think of them as the demons, right? But then you have the leadership roles above them essentially. And so Satan essentially has these five demons that are essentially like the head hanchos. So basically he gives them the orders and they execute, they send it out, and they, you know, release the troops so to speak and and w whatever which way they want to go. So they are immediately and hierarch hierarchically wow. Works for me. That's that's a handful. ⁓ underneath Satan and like I said, they execute his plans. So we just kinda want to briefly talk about it. So especially with spiritual warfare going on, ⁓ obviously that's something that we talk about quite frequently on this podcast. Ryan and I wanted to dive a little bit deeper on it 'cause we both have watched the video and done a little bit of research and hopefully kind of shed some light ⁓ Especially what's going on in society nowadays, ⁓ especially if you live in the United States, what you are seeing and you guys after this episode, it'll it'll actually make probably a lot more sense to kind of what's going on, and you can actually see how Satan truly has infiltrated ⁓ not only this country but the church as well. Yeah. I'd say after ⁓ this talk, we're we'll we'll be kind of walking through a little bit of what ⁓ Father Rupert talks about in that YouTube ⁓ video that I think will be in the show notes like James said. more or less the the progression we see in the social conscience, I guess you could say, the popular social conscience. And ⁓ kind of what's led us to where we are now. And I think one thing to keep in mind, and I think Ryan, you said that Father Ripgard actually mentions this in the talk, which I didn't quite get to, is that what we're gonna talk about has actually happened throughout history. So especially the Roman civilizations, ⁓ Greek Greek culture, things like that, is that there's this progression of these demons. So it usually starts with one and it builds on the on each other and it goes from there. So the the first one That we want to talk about is Baal or Ball. Baal, however you want to pronounce it. So his principal function is to get cultures to succumb to impurity. And primar the primary reason, or I'm not sorry, the primary Action that he does that through is through fornication. So he attacks the sexual act, right? So once fornication sets in, so fornication is sex outside of marriage, for those of you who don't know. ⁓ so once fornication sets in, then the purpose of what the conjugal conjugal act is for or ordered towards to is loss. In other words, the conjugal act being intended for procreation is loss. I mean, you guys can just look at just turn on the TV. and you can see commercials where women are sexualized. You can see pornography is rampant. We've talked about pornography time and time again. You can see ⁓ you just talk to anybody and hardly know anyone who waited until they were married to have sex. You know, it's just locker room talk and you know, high school boys, college boys, I mean just kind of that locker room culture, especially for guys, it's almost like a peer pressure type of thing where if you haven't had sex yet, then you're less of a man. Which of course it we know is the exact opposite is being a true man is saying, No, I'm gonna wait until my spouse comes along. Yeah, I know I had friends in co in high school where you know people getting into let's just call it shenanigans and at least one of them referred to it as needing to lose his curse. So his his vir virginity or or V card as you know we might have said when we were younger, was viewed as being a curse because there's a status symbol assigned to being able to toss that virtuous claim, I guess you could say, out the window. And ⁓ I know I'd I'd have loved to have been able to share that with with my wife and, you know, I'm sort of torn and about do we talk to our kids about that, you know, come fully clean or, you know, have them think that we're up on this pedestal or do we be are we more approachable, you know, I I think there's arguments on both sides of that, but I guess at least where I'm sitting right now, I'd lean towards trying to have that conversation earlier on and make sure the the kids are forewarned. Yeah, that's tough. I mean, it is difficult conversation because obviously you wanna lead with truth and dignity and but you know, like you said too, would it in their minds kinda justify mm well my parents did or did not do it, so why should I, type of thing. So yeah, that's tough conversation. So but I mean you guys just you look at it too. I mean I remember growing up, just the types of movies that the ratings, you know, like PG, PG thirteen and R You know, in PG thirteen now it was like rated X back in when I was younger, it seems like. Just the things that are allowed nowadays, just because we've become so numb to it, you know? And you think too about you know, contraception. And that kinda ties into with ball, it's the idea that sex is just for recreational purposes. When Like the science just scientifically, what is the purpose of of having sex? It's to continue the human species. Like that is that is the only purpose of it. Yeah. That'd be the biological purpose, I would say, and then the pleasure aspect of it is to make the species want to engage in Exactly. Exactly. So but people separate the fact that the conjugal act is designed for procreation. And when you separate that Then you lose the purpose of the function. And so when you do that, I mean just think about any other organ you have in your body. If you ask the heart to, you know, fire neurons all the time, it's like, well, I don't that's not my job, I don't do that. So what's gonna happen? The body's gonna break down. The soul is gonna be separated because you're asking certain functions to perform duties that they're not designed to do. I mean, just think about, you know, in your job, if your boss asks you to do something that you aren't equipped for, or you're gonna be like, Well, I'm just gonna figure it out. No, like I need to be trained in this 'cause I can't do that. So same thing, you know, when when we participate in things that so God created this this beautiful act. I mean that was literally his first commandment he gave to Adam and Eve is to be fruitful and multiply. That's that's what he d designed the conjugal act for. Okay, and it's a beautiful thing. And that that's what Satan does though, is in s and Father Dom talks about this, is that he's the light bearer. Because if he came out with as he's often depicted, like with pitchforks and fire and all this, like of course people would run away because that's scary. But he presents as, Hey, look, here's this beautiful thing that God created and then he he turns it around and he says, But but What what is it actually designed for? Like it yeah, okay, it's to have children, but what about that pleasure aspect of it? What if you could just have sex and only have the pleasure part of it? So he removes the purpose, the beautiful purpose that God created it for, and he perverts it. Yeah, you know, something that's crossing my mind in the ⁓ beginning of the Jesse Romero episode where Father Dom talks about Satan's I think he said the first words Satan's ut Satan utters are I will not serve. And so if you look at what God created as being there to serve God's purpose or what he made it for, Satan is taking those things in addition to having originally said, I will not serve, he's now saying that I will not allow that to serve God's purpose. And so if I get my hands on it, I'm going to pervert it and I'm going to make that purpose serve. me maybe by you know that that falling into the fornication and and sort of spiraling seeing where society goes from there. That's just random thoughts off the top of my head right now. I'm not sure how much those would hold up under scrutiny, but it seemed like something that sort of tied into that most recent episode with Jesse Ramiro. Yeah, I mean it it it ties too into the I mean when was the sexual revolution? Like the sixties, seventies? Something like that. Around that time. And then the free love movement, if you want to think about it that way. And then that's that's the whole purpose of it. It's rejecting God saying I will not serve the purpose that you've set me on this earth to do instead I want to do what I want to do. And you mentioned the Jesse Romero episode and he always talks about you're either a child of God or you're a child of Satan. Like there's no third team. You know, like so if you're a lukewarm Catholic as Jesse talked about, you're clearly on Satan's team. Like there's no, hey, I'm doing okay. You're like, no, you're you're declining, you're on Satan's team. So either you are fighting for God and you are of course we all fall, and I'm not Denying that, but what I'm saying is that if you are striving to be perfect, to be the man, the woman that God is designing you to be, yes, we are we are all gonna stumble, but you're still a child of God because you're actively pursuing the good. You're actively pursuing what God put on this earth, the purpose that He put certain things on this earth, and you are trying your darndest to do so. And so that's Ball. Do you have anything else you want to add to Ball? Not really. Okay. So I mean you guys can clearly see how in America ⁓ ball has taken hold. And we wanna start with Ball because the rest of ⁓ kind of fall after that. Okay, so gosh, I'm probably gonna butcher these. Asmodeus. Did I say that correctly? As good as I could. Okay, Asmodeus. So he is the demon of homosexuality in men. So he is cited in the story of Tobias as being the demon responsible for the death of Sarah's seven husbands on their wedding nights. So if you guys are not familiar, especially our Protestant friends who are listening, ⁓ the book of Tobit, which is in the Catholic Bible, there is this story where ⁓ there's this woman named Sarah, and she is married seven times. And the night that she's married, where they're about to perform the conjugal act to consummate the marriage, ⁓ essentially a demon. Are are you gonna look up the ⁓ Yeah, I'm gonna look up the the verse the Bible verse. Because I I might butcher the story. It's been a while since I've read Tobit. So essentially the the demon, which is thought to be Asmodeus, comes in and essentially kills her her husbands. And so they die. And so then Tobias, he would be the eighth husband, ⁓ is married to Sarah. And then the story goes that before Tobias and Sarah were to participate in the conjugal act, conjugal. The marriage, he grabs Sarah, not grabs her, he takes her, they kneel down on their bed, and they actually pray. and I think I think Ripper, or I might have heard this somewhere, basically they were essentially praying in like a mini exorcism prayer, essentially, from what I heard. ⁓ and so that basically released the demon, and ⁓ where I forget where it was, I think it was Raphael, the archangel, was in the story of this story as well. He essentially takes Asmodea. and and throws them out of that area, essentially. So so that's Asmadeus. So the demon of homosexuality in men. I think there was also a little bit of what I spent some time looking up that Asmodeus goes after the family, tries to bring down the family, which makes sense there. And the the section of of Tobit in chapter three, verse eight, relative to Sarah, here's a little excerp excerpt of it. Because she had been given to seven husbands, and the evil demon Asmodeus had slain each of them before he had been with her as his wife. so the maid said to her, Do you not know that you strangle your husbands? You already have had seven and have had no benefit from any of them. So I'm assuming that means y drawing attention to the benefit being no heirs or anything of that nature. They did not consummate the heir the the marriage. And then the other section in Tobit where Asmodeus is mentioned by name is in the same chapter three, but in verse seventeen. And Raphael was sent to heal the two of them, to scale away the white films of Tobit's eyes, to give Sarah the daughter of Raguel, in marriage to Tobit Tobias, the son of Tobit, and to bind Asmodeus the evil demon, because Tobias was entitled to possess her. At that very moment, Tobit returned and entered. His house and Sarah, the daughter of Raguel, came down from her upper room. So there's a lot that happens in between there. ⁓ if I remember the story correctly, ⁓ Tobias leaves and ⁓ Sarah is more or less hiding in an upper room and and Tobias leaves. Can't remember who was under the director direction of Raphael or not. ⁓ comes back and I think the statement of he was what was it in entitled to possess her would go back to something we talked about when we last spoke relative to the being submissive or submissio ⁓ to your husbands for the wives, where supporting the the mission mission mission of and I I wonder if by possess there, you know, granted this is thousands of years ago and things are things were handled differently back then. But I think you could also interpret that as being under the protection of. no, I'm not a Bible scholar or anything like that, but that's how I would probably interpret that. Yeah, that's a good way of looking at it. And and honestly, if you look at it from I I I I don't think that Tobias would have looked at her as just mere property per se. You know, he is praying for the deliverance ultimately of his wife and he he cares so deeply about her that that is the first thing he wants to deal with upon their marriage. Yeah, and it makes sense. So I'm just kinda looking up other descriptions of Asmodeus. So he is the demon of lust, as it's called. And they also describe him as one of the seven princes of hell, a demon whose wickedness is matched only by his talent, according to this website. So but I mean it makes It makes sense though when you look at these five generals because I'm just trying to unpack this here. So God made man and woman, and Satan hates man and he hates woman. He especially hates women, and Jesse Romero talks about this too, because The according to church tradition, small t is that when God made the angels, they were able to see God's plan for salvation. So his whole plan was laid out before them. And as Father Dom talked about last week, Satan responded by saying, I will not serve. And Jesse Romero talks about this in his talks when he says he especially saw Mary. This virgin woman And he hated her because he basically said, How can we allow this woman to basically be the mother of God? She Mary was the reason that God came into it came into being on this earth. So she birthed him, essentially, and he hated that. And so but Jesse talked about last week too in the the episode with him, when you look at the Hail Mary prayer, each line of the Hail Mary Whenever we s recite it, he basically says that it's a wound to Satan's pride because he used to be all those things that Mary is described as. So for those of you who haven't listened to the episode yet, Satan was essentially God's one of God's greatest angels, essentially. Like he was, if not the top, one of the top angels that God created. Like he was beautiful. I mean he's called Lucifer, which is the light bearer. So he was beautiful. And he chose not to serve, and so he said, Hail Mary, full of grace. Satan looks at him and said, Well, I was I was full of grace. Like I was the one that was honored above all other angels, stuff like that. So if you if you break down the Hail Mary, essentially you can that's why the prayer is so powerful is because you know, especially you hear Father Ribigrid, you hear other exorcists, they talk about you invoke Mary and the demons flee. Because again, here's this because they are prideful creatures. That's another thing is that when you invoke a woman who they hate, they flee because it just wounds their pride. So but yet when and then when you look at it too, it makes sense these five generals go after the sexual act primarily. Because if you break down Why God created man and woman. So man and woman, two become one flesh through the conjugal act, right? I mean, that's talked about in church teachings that that's how two become one. Man and woman become one is through that act. And so if you attack that, pretty much all of society breaks down, right? Because if you can separate that, this thing that God created, this beautiful thing that God created, if you can separate the man and the woman, because that's what Satan likes to do, is divide. then you can, you know, step in and and go from there. I mean same thing if you think about military terms, you want to divide the army. So if you just attack everyone f you know, head on, you could get defeated, but if you divide them, you can just separate and conquer them that way. Yeah, and I know I the psychology research will will back this up, ⁓ as far as the separating of the man and woman and and the dissociation of the conjugal act with the right its rightful place in marriage results in a broken fatherless homes and it turns out you know no matter what some maybe older generations might tell you a father is incredibly important to their the upbringing and the well being of their children. there was a book, I'm trying to remember it's on my bookshelf upstairs. ⁓ Anyway, it's it basically they they looked at ⁓ and I may have talked about this last time, they looked at a they were trying to find the a correlation of more or less what caused ⁓ some negative health ⁓ outcomes. I don't remember exactly what they were, but It was I wanna say like heart disease, cancer, things of that nature. And one of the strongest correlations wasn't so much diet, exercise, or or things of that nature, but the presence of the father in the household. Now that's correlation not necessarily causation. And I think what you can draw from that is the importance of a psychological well-being for the progression of your bodily growth. If you are in a state of anxiety on a regular basis, then that is going to negatively impact you know, you on the health side of things in in more ways than one and and could end up having long term ramifications. And so dividing the man from the woman, and you know, this kind of goes into some of the other things we'll talk about in a little bit. But trying to remove responsibility and and say more or less the idea that, you know, I'm I'm a strong woman, I don't need a man kind of thing, but I'm I'm gonna have the kids. Well, you know, there's there's nothing weak about joining into a partnership. I I also think the single mothers out there, of course, are very strong and, you know, I look at my wife from time to time and I say, gee, Louise, I can't imagine doing this without you and so I'm not detracting from single mothers out there by any means, but more so just trying to draw a correlation there between what would be beneficial for the demons to drive that wedge and how that can affect and propagate down through the generations. So the next demon is Leviathan. Leviathan? I think. Is it Leviathan? That's how I've heard it. I've heard both. We'll do a poll for the listeners. ⁓ wow. That'd be a Leviathan or Leviathan. Tomato potato kind of situation. Wow. This is gonna be good. Alright. Men and women out there listening, is it Leviathan? Or Leviathan. I may create a couple extra accounts and ⁓ add some votes your way. There you go. ⁓ so he is or she no, they're not really she's they're just spirits. So they Leviathan is the demon of homosexuality in men. But of the masculine type is how Father Ripper talked about it. I'm not sure what he means there. I'm not sure what he means by that either. I was actually gonna ask you. He says heavy on the heels. There's a few ideas I have as to what that could could mean. If you Google it, Google ⁓ I tried earlier. It directs you to all sorts of other things other than what I thought it could mean, which I wasn't sure if that meant you know, homosexual men who are I'll just come on and say the guy in the relationship. ⁓ the d the more domineering type. Sure. The more dominant type. I didn't know if I also didn't know if heavy in the heel w was a r a reference to men in women's clothing kind of thing. ⁓ okay. Yeah. I did not find anything on either of the in either of those veins. ⁓ search engine. Maybe we're s this is gonna be a poll episode, so ⁓ can our listeners help us out on that? Yeah, if someone can enlighten us, ⁓ that'd be beneficial. This just goes to show that we have children and we don't We're not up with the lingo of society and social media and such. Hey, maybe it'll hurt the pride. I'm not trying to face off with a demon by any means. Neither am I. But hey, we I mean Michael the Archangel. Pray for us. Amen. We have to bang our shields. We need we need to get shields and swords. I have some foam ones for the kids sitting right over there. We can make it happen. We can make a battle cry. Mm-hmm. I like that. So again, speaking to our culture, I mean you guys know what's going on with the LGBTQ plus ABC D. Dave Chappelle says the alphabet people. The alphabet The Alphabet people. So, I mean, clearly that is something that is on the loose in society, if you will, especially with the installment of so called same sex marriage. ⁓ when was that? Back in two thousand eight now? I can't recall. It's probably fourteen years now. But I mean again it goes back to man and woman. It was back to marriage. And when you Corrupt marriage, what marriage is for, if you what is the purpose of marriage. So the so I mean we can just talk about that. So what is the purpose of marriage? Right? A very Catholic view would absolutely be for procreation. Exactly. And I wanna do a little sidebar really quick. Please do. you know, the we got friends who are in the LGBTQI a That that community and I'm not trying to detract and I don't think either of us is trying to detract from that at all. but what the conversation is focused on right now is how did God intend things to be relationship wise between a man and a woman? and so there is absolutely no ill intent there, not nothing but but love for the community. ⁓ But at the same time, you know, we need to call it out as as it is. I had I have a good friend at at work who he pointed out if you truly love somebody and you truly believe that what they are doing is going to separate them from God and that To eternal punishment, is it more loving to tell them about it or to stay quiet and more or less acquiesce to what society wants you to do? So that's all I wanted to mention on the sidebar side of things. So back to the the question of what is marriage for. I would again say the church says procreation, more. the the raising of others in the Catholic faith and to carry on the Catholic faith and go out there and make disciples of all nations, I would say society might tie solely the tax benefit to it. ⁓ Coffee and prayer. Wait a thing about two marriages was in just ancient history, it was designed to protect women and children. So the children would have a a man and a female, a mom and a dad to look out for the children. So it it's it I mean, pro practically it was designed so that men couldn't just go around having you know, sex with every person and just leave hanging out to try because then what would happen to the the mom and the child? I mean, it in it's different nowadays, of course, but back in, you know, ancient history, a lot of times women and children were the defenseless, you know, like i especially in military situations and battles, ⁓ a lot of times they'd be taken captive because they had no one to protect them, right? So, you know, if you think about marriage just at a practical term, it is really for for men to take responsibility, if you want to think of it that way. Is it not to force them to, but I mean we we all know as as men out there that we we have unholy desires, if you will. I mean that's all we're fallen creatures, right? And as much as we strive to to be to be holy, to be saints, we all know that we are sinful creatures and that we fall day after day. So marriage, yeah, absolutely, just from a a purely Catholic perspective is for procreation. And if you want to think of it this way too, is to make it's to make the other person holy, to make your partner holy, and to get them to heaven as well. So when you and again going off your off your sidebar, the church has always taught that you must love the person first. And Jesus taught that. You cannot forget the second part of what Jesus always did, and is that he always told them, Go and sin no more. So people always like to point to when Jesus healed ⁓ like ⁓ cast out spirits, or like Mary ⁓ Mary Magdalene, who is a prostitute, prostitutes in the Bible, the Samaritan woman. So yeah, Jesus approached them with love, but he always corrected them too, with love. And people forget that second part. And they always point like, well, Jesus said not to judge. And he said, No, that's not what he's saying. He's he's making sure that you are not gonna be criticized of being a hypocrite. So like you're criticizing that person of pornography, but you're going home and you're masturbating the pornography every night. Like you're being hypocritical about that. So make sure your house is in order, approach with love. But exactly what you said. What what's the actual loving thing to do? If you see somebody, your best friend, who is committing a sin every single day? Do you think you're really being a good friend by just sitting back and saying, well, like that's that's their that's their life choice? Like if you have a friend that goes out every night, he gets wasted and he gets in fights every night, do you think you're not gonna sit down with him and say, hey, like you this needs to stop? Like he's committing mortal sin every single night. Yeah. Every single night. You know? So I think we get we get caught up in certain aspects of of certain sins, it's like, well, are they are they predisposed to it? Possibly. Okay? Or are they more inclined to that sort of lifestyle lifestyle? Possibly. Okay. I mean the the science is all up in the air about that. There's eviden good evidence for it, there's evidence against it as well. But my point is that We forget that just because we have an inclination towards certain sins does not make the sin okay. And if you have an inclination toward the sin, you need to that's that's part of the cross that you bear, right? Right. That's what we talked about last time a little bit. where that's that's something that you're being called to grow in virtue for. Whether it's, you know, chastity on the pornography front front or l lust front in general, or, you know, to to follow up on the ⁓ being sober. ⁓ you know there's there's things that we're called to grow in and if we're being led down down paths that are directed towards sin, you can absolutely be sure who the gatekeeper is there that's encouraging you to go down that wide path and ⁓ ignore the narrow path that that you're ⁓ Right, right. Yeah, so for for all those listening out there, just just know the Catholic Church has always taught that you must lead with love. But with that love I mean to think about Ryan, ⁓ you and me as a father, we love our ch we would die for our children. But we discipline them. We discipline them. And that that's hard. And as long as you're approaching discipline with love, I mean Psalms talk about how much you need to discipline your child, right? Why do you discipline a child, right? Because they you know, they don't know any better, right? So you must lead with love always, but then you are called to correct. And I would hope, you know Father Dominic, for you, my good friends. I hope if you guys see me doing something that's wrong that you would call me out for it. Because I know that you love me enough that you would say, Hey James, like what are you doing? You know, like this is what I'm seeing, and you're clearly going off the path here. Because honestly, I mean people might not even realize. I mean, we put our blinders on, and we as humans, we like to justify our actions. Like, okay, like I did that. Yeah, it might have been bad, but this is why I did it, so it might be okay. And so we like to justify Actions cause we like to think, hey, I'm not that bad. Like that guy, he's doing that, but I'm over here. I I might be doing some bad stuff, but at least it's not that. Yeah, or you might say, Well, you know, I remember having this thought in in college. Well, ⁓ sure, I'm looking at pornography and masturbating, but at least I'm not sleeping around, or you know There's there's always this when when there's a butt there, no, it just y you know, you gotta get in right relationship. And the other thing that crossed my mind on the judge no judgment side of things is perhaps there's a bit of making sure that people don't fall into boasting. You know, if you are judging someone, you are in in at least that aspect, placing them beneath you and looking down your nose at them. and so by saying don't judge, that doesn't necessarily mean you know, everyone be completely free to do what you want in the world and you do you, y I'll do me, we'll see who's who who Saint Peter lets through the gates by by God's direction. So ⁓ yeah, I I would say that there's aspects in what what Jesus is saying there of pointing back to you as well of get your house in order, don't be boastful in this too. So Yeah never boastful. Yeah don't be don't be prideful about it. If I must. Yeah. So the the fourth one I am so bad at these names. Is it Lilith? Lilith? Lilith. Lilith. I put up way too much in my bed. That's alright. Cheers. For those listening, ⁓ I made some old fashions for James and I, and ⁓ let's just say I just had a heavy pour. I'm not complaining about it. So Lilith is the demon of homosexuality in women. I honestly don't know how have a ton to say because I think it it ties in. I mean, for those of you read any news article, you'll see that, you know, that's clearly something that's going on. You've got ⁓ we talked about ⁓ so-called same sex marriage. I mean you've got pornography, look at everything going on. There's just clearly that is something not only homosexuality in men, but in women as well. Is is on the rise in our culture. I think ⁓ too, you know, just trying to think what would be the benefit in Satan's long game here. And if the goal is ultimately the destruction of the human race, what better way to do that than attack the ability for future generations to be around than have not procreative couples. Couples. Yeah. and going back to the Romans, they, from what I remember from someone telling me in grad school, they viewed homosexual intercourse as higher than heterosexual intercourse because it was purely pleasure based. and, you know, absolutely no possibility of ramifications there and you know, at at that point you're just using each other. and that's definitely not something from God, obviously. Right. Well yeah, and when you when you I mean that's something we didn't really touch on, but when you just participate in the sexual act because of pleasure, undoubtedly one of the people, whether it's the man or the woman Is gonna get hurt by that. Yeah, I mean 'cause I mean they're being used. I mean I going back to psychology days in in college, undergrad, I think for for men it's easier to separate the emotions from the conjugal act, but for women it's it's basically impossible. Like every time a woman ⁓ participates in the conjugal act, there is a a deep emotional connection to that to the man, essentially. So I I forgot where I read that, but again, like for men, because men just the way our brains work differently, we have you know, Betsy and me always talk about like men have waffle squares, so like we can separate things, we can categorize things. That's just how our brains work. But for women, everything is is mixed up. It's like a big bowl of soup, right? So there's not as much separation from you know, your emotions to your to your work, to your family, to your children, to your hobbies, like everything's kinda mixed up together. So, you know Clearly, when you participate in something that is it it's I mean in society it's not a big deal, but it really is a big deal. You are fully giving yourself to another human being. Like that is the most vulnerable you can possibly be with another person, is in the conjugal act. You are giving yourself to that person, and if it's just for pleasure only and then you know like these one night stands that people have like you can't that cycle can't keep going on forever because eventually you're just gonna be you're you're you're gonna feel worthless. You're gonna feel like nothing. It's empty. It's it's absolute emptiness. And so people who are chasing it out there I encourage you, I mean I mean confession is is the healing for the soul. I mean the only way this our society is gonna turn this around is that we start turning towards God. You know? And the the last demon I wanna say something on say something on that really quick too. Please do. ⁓ in that same talk, Father Ripper mentions something about how confession is more effective than like your run-of-the-mill exorcism. I can't remember his exact words there, but recognize that getting yourself to confession It should be a high priority if if you're dealing with with some sins. Right. All of us are. And you know, we're at the beginning. Getting into the middle third now. And ⁓ so if you haven't gotten to confession in more than four weeks or so, let's let's get there. Monthly. Yeah, get there at at least every month. If you're struggling with that particular sin, I mean go weekly if you have to. Every two weeks. I mean, the more you go, the better. So but this last one is ⁓ definitely rampant nowadays. And the demon is Bafflemet. Thank you. Bafflemet. So he is the demon of child sacrifice. So ⁓ obviously we're gonna talk about abortion. ⁓ especially with the Supreme Court, ⁓ the leaked document. ⁓ it seems like Roe v. Way is gonna be overturned. ⁓ praise be to God for that. Amen. So Abortion. So this This is obviously difficult topic to talk about. I know a Side of the fence on it. If you listen to a podcast last week with Jesse Romero, he talked about that abortion, abortion is pretty much the sacrament of Satanist. So this he didn't say this, but I kind of pictured like this is their Eucharist essentially as child sacrifice ⁓ to Satan, essentially. And Abortion has become so misconstrued in our society that that we forget like what we are talking about. Like the the language that is used has become so mellow that people forget that we're talking about literally killing a child, a human being in the womb. Okay, so we have all these people, especially with these Roe v. Wade people like my body, my choice. Which is an argument that we can talk about another time. But they are forgetting that there are two bodies inside the woman. Distinct DNA there for the child. I think there's there's there's four arms, there's four legs, there's two hearts, you know. So when they they talk about that, they're they're totally missing the point. And what is I think even more troubling to me is all these cat these so called Catholics out there who the catechism is cleared about w w where it stands on abortion. Like if you are Catholic, you have to like if you are Catholic, you agree to abide by the teachings of the catechism. Like when you become Catholic, that's a requirement. That's not optional, right? And so for those of you who say you're Catholic but you are pro-choice or pro abortion, you are not actually Catholic. And you know it it it gets me angry, especially when our president is a so-called devout Catholic, another so-called devout Catholic politician and and Nancy Pelosi, they are the biggest abortion advocates out there, the biggest pro-choice advocates that we have probably in the US political system. And when we talk about child sacrifice, I mean Guys, people literally would sacrifice live children infanticide. And now there are bills being passed or at least coming to the floor where they are actually talking about infanticide. Like California, the lovely state I grew up in. They are talking about passing a bill where a woman could potentially kill her child up to three weeks after they're born. No way. Yeah. Like that is where so people talk about the slippery slope argument, which I never thought that was actually a a fallacy in in logic. And so they talk about like, okay, you allow you allow this to happen, like that's never gonna get to that point. Okay, so we're at abortion now, where it used to be I mean before I don't know what it was before Roe v. Wade, to be honest with you. I I haven't studied that much on it, but you know, like when Roe v. Wade was passed, like, okay, like it it's not gonna be that big of a deal. And now we're getting to the point where if you if you argue for the pro-choice side, you have to draw a line somewhere. So like where does human life begin? And no matter where you begin the line, you can always push that line further back. Right? So now it's becoming like we see like th we become so numb to this argument That now it's literally, okay, you have a child, maybe you thought you wanted the child, but now you don't want the child, so now you can kill the child. Like that's that's where we're heading. And people think we're crazy. That is where we're heading. That's not even something so my wife and I were talking about this recently. So I think everyone can recognize that the Romans had a a pretty brutal nature. And I didn't look into this before our discussion, but she was saying based on her memory that Even in Roman law, a pregnant woman would not be executed until after she gave birth because the child was viewed as a ⁓ you know innocent life and that the the sins of the mother, whatever they might have been, should not be visited on on the child. And one of the ⁓ so Michael Knowles ⁓ he had a a talk recently, ⁓ an interview with a a pro choice person and ⁓ He mentioned in that, I can't remember the person's name that he referenced, but there was someone that in the mid to late 1990s, very strong ⁓ abortion advocate, and she had said that the way to win the pro-choice argument is to acknowledge the humanity of the child. ⁓ see them doing the exact opposite there. And frankly, I don't see how you can win the pro-choice argument acknowledging the humanity of the child. And I don't see I I I don't see a single coherent argument for denying the humanity of it. If it's not a human, what is it? And if that's not a life in the womb at conception, like you said, where is that line that yesterday it was okay, today it's or excuse me, yeah, yesterday it's okay, today it's not. And then you move that outside the womb, where it gets tricky too, is end of life care. All those same arguments about heartbeat and autonomy and ⁓ you know being brain activity, feeling pain, things of that nature. ⁓ if you apply that to end of life care too, which you know, the pro choice ⁓ side of things, they they often are in in favor of the euthanasia side. but then I would say take all those same arguments and then apply it against the will of the person who is outside the womb in the end of life care. and I I feel like that's that stuff falls apart. And if and can you apply it to a toddler, can you apply it to a three week old Yeah, it just I I don't I don't see how it how it works out. And I have heard stories of abortionists who are Satanists and offer up what they do for Satan. Yeah. And I haven't looked into Satanism a a lot, but I'm I'm pretty I I'm quite confident that one of their central tenets is ⁓ advocacy on for abortion. Mm-hmm. So even if you are not a a religious person, but I I I'm guessing people listening to the Manly Catholic probably are. Yeah. But let's just remove that for a moment. If you're not a religious person and in general you understand that Satan represents evil or worldly things and and God represents good, truthful things, then which side do you want to be on? The the Satanist side or the the the side that is opposing that? What I think too, the the pro life side, I mean you can completely remove religion from it. And it's still the the it's the most consistent, coherent argument because it's life begins at conception. Like period. If you go to the opposite side of the the spectrum where we talked about it, it's like, okay, so where do you draw the line and what makes you draw the line there and not at a different spot? Because people argue like sentience or viability and things like that. But ⁓ Ben Shapiro talks about this a lot because people often bring up, you know, extreme cases where it's like less than one percent of like incest, things like that. And he goes, Okay, so if If I grant you legislation that you can have abortions in those cases, would you disallow all of the abortions? Most pro-choice advocates will say no. So they don't really care about the extreme cases, they just try to bring it up to kind of throw you off, essentially. So it it always the the argument always goes down to what is in the woman's womb? What are we talking about here? 'Cause, you know, they use they th you know, people use terminology like a clump of cells. Like, okay, well that's all I am. Euphemisms. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, it's all about language. It's all about language. If you control the language, this is what Michael Knowles talks about, he wrote a whole book on it. If you control the language, then you control the argument. And that is what They have done such a good job of they talk about ⁓ they just call it a fetus, they call it a clump of cells. They like you say, they use this euphemism. When actually look up fetus, yeah. What what is the definition of a fetus? You just looked it up. so the general definition that Google first comes up with is an unborn offspring of a mammal, in particular an unborn human baby more than eight weeks after conception. ⁓ I think it might be an embryo prior to fetus. I can't remember. I'm not a biologist. Yeah, neither. if I remember correctly, either the Latin or Greek for fetus means ⁓ little one or something like that. I'll I'll I'll see if I can find the translation. Yeah. So men and women who are listening out there, though the whole point of of what we're getting at here is the the battle in the United States, if you just look at what happened, well, first of all. There should have never been a leaked document from the Supreme Court. Let's just be, you know, we can talk about that too. But if you look at the response of people who are on the pro-choice side, like they are literally getting mad at people at the Supreme Court for overturning a decision that allows for less child if you want th think of it this way, less child sacrifice in the United States. And people are legitimately angry, they are furious, they are rioting. Because of it, there were videos of people that ⁓ I forget the name of the group, but they went to Catholic churches to protest. On Mother's Day, ironically enough, you can't be a mother if you're for abortion, which I thought The irony of that is pretty severe, which I don't think they realize that. But anyways, so clearly what w the reason why we want to talk about all these men is that our country currently, Father Ripgro talked about it, is under the control and influence of the top five generals under Satan. So we remove fornication laws. Which delivered us into the hands of Bael. Ball. So, you know, no fault divorce. that's the biggest one I can think of. Fornication laws. ⁓ yeah, I don't I don't remember. I just remember no fault divorce was kinda the biggest one. ⁓ and then contraception as well. ⁓ Roe v. Wade delivered us into the hands of Bahomet? Bahomet? Baffament. Baffament. And then allowing ⁓ gay marriage delivered us into the rest. So the types of spiritual warfare the human race is engaged in do not change. It's just the amount of it. So our sin empowers the demons, and Father Ripker talks about this all the time, is that the spiritual warfare itself is the same as it was today as it was when Jesus was around. It's just the amount of it is the same. And he talks a lot about too is the holiness of the Catholic Church dictates the amount of spiritual warfare. So we can talk about this at another time, is when we have priests and bishops and cardinals who are actively participating in sin, who are ⁓ not striving to be holy men. Then the demons basically can run rampant. And I know ⁓ Jesse talked about on his on our last podcast, ⁓ he's talking about how much Satan has attacked the priesthood lately. And if you guys follow Taylor Marshall at all, he talks about how Satan actually infiltrated the Catholic Church. That's a topic for another day. But the the point I think is is pretty obvious. If you just look at the sex abuse scandals from a few years ago, it seems to be at least every several months, something new comes about ⁓ regarding it. But I mean clearly Satan was involved in that somehow. There are these these men who are representing Christ on the altar and they are participating in these heinous crimes. And a lot of people were hurt by that. And I think a lot of people got turned off by the Catholic Church by it. And rightfully so. I mean, these men were supposed to be. I mean, the Catholic Church is supposed to be the safe haven. for people in society. Like the church is a place where you're supposed to go and that's like your reprieve. That's your rest from the chaos that's in the world. And then when you lose that that that safety net, you kind of spiral a little bit. And I think we see that in our culture. is that when we lose that, like I said, that safety net. I mean just think about we need to talk about the father again in the family. When the father is gone, the father is the the glue of the family. So with the father is gone, then the children don't have that safety. The the wife doesn't have that safety anymore. And then y that Satan just comes right in and and sweeps up the sweeps up the family. Yeah, something that's sort of crossing my mind right now is so Baphomet being the demon for child sacrifice, the use of the child by the priest there is in I would argue a form of sacrificing certainly the innocence of the child, to, you know, worldly things. We'll just leave it at that. And then what is that? what is the fruit of that sin? It's ultimately cracks in the foundation of the Catholic Church, which is, you know, we we look to the priests in in those faith roles. And casting doubt and deceiving, yeah, that's definitely got Saints MO written all over it. And I think people who were looking and continue to look for reasons to throw stones at the Catholic Church and and not believe, they they will pull that out and say if they were capable of this and the cover up, which I think the cover up needs to be dealt with obviously as well. And You know, they they use that as an excuse to say, well the the church would do if they could do that, this other little thing seems like well within the possibility. And so painting with a broad stroke from the actions of a few and applying that to the many, and then saying that if you are a Catholic and you support the church then you support that. No, no, it can be nuanced. Right. Yeah, I I posted something on Instagram about pornography and I got so many comments from people where it's just like this is so hypocritical coming from a Catholic account and just like you know, all your priests did all these things to children and stuff. It's like okay. You know, like separate just because there are a few bad men Who should be prosecuted. I mean no one no Catholic would deny that. Like all these people should be brought to justice. If there's a cover up that needs to be exposed and all of them should be thrown in jail. And that's my opinion. And no no no Catholic denies that. Or would or would argue with me about that. ⁓ what they did was terrible. And I'm the first one to say that. And again, all true Catholics are the first people to say that too. But we need to pray for them too. Because we have to remember that this is temporary. We're here for if we're blessed enough a hundred years on this life. In this life. And then we have all of eternity. And so we we are so focused, we are so self-centered focused on this life that we forget about what is gonna happen in the next life. And so if we just take a step back and realize that there are literally souls at souls at stake every single day, it changes our perspective. So what those men did were horrible. It was horrible and it was terrible and they should be prosecuted, they should be thrown in jail for that, but they also need to be prayed for. Because their soul is also at stake. Because no matter what no matter what somebody does, my worst enemy, I do not want them to spend eternity in hell with Satan separated from God. You know? Yeah, and obviously I think if any Catholic was aware of a child that was in their community that had been affected by that, they would absolutely come alongside them and do everything they could do. ⁓ my gosh, yeah. ⁓ Like to I'd like to think that I I I think that's very much a true statement. And to follow that same logic of if the priest did this, then you support it. You know, that sort of thing. If there is a Satanist out there who's performing abortions, or if Satanism is pro choice, then if you are pro choice, you're a Satanist. But that logic does not flow. Absolutely. and it just I it's an illogical statement. All right, man. So is there anything else you wanted to No, I think we've we've touched on things. I mean there's there's more than I could say on the abortion front, of course. Yeah. and and some of these other topics that we've we've touched on, but we did another episode on that. Yeah. And that's I I think that's sufficient for the time being. For sure. Yeah, man, so we we wanted to do this because well, a couple reasons. One, we wanted to again, you want to know the enemy. I know Father Domini talked about that in our episode specifically on spiritual warfare. The more you know your enemy, you more the more you know their tactics, the more that you can defend yourself and then defend your family, especially. So two books I want to recommend. And I already did this, but ⁓ Dominion by Father Rippiger. And ⁓ I actually just got this one by Jesse Romero. It's Lord prepare my hands for battle. It's got a pretty sweet ⁓ night on the front there. Night Templar, it looks like. Night Templar, exactly. So in Jesse's book, he talks about ⁓ morning, noon, and night prayers that he does personally. Also, you know, how to pray the rosary, which is our greatest spiritual weapon. ⁓ again, Satan talks about the importance of confession, getting to confession every every month at least. Again, we talked about earlier if ⁓ you're s ⁓ really struggling with this specific sin, make sure you try to go as much as as much as possible. I mean go every week if you have to. ⁓ and try to go to the same one. I know we talk I I'm I wanna get a priest on here who does spiritual direction in the future. To talk about the importance of having a spiritual director and someone that you go to consistently for confession because that way they they get to know you. And I think too, the more you're comfortable with someone, you can kind of have those those deeper conversations as versus like with a stranger, you know, where it's more of the kind of superficial type of thing as well. So that wraps up another episode of the Manly Catholic. So man, go out there and be a saint. Brothers, thank you so much for listening to this episode. If the shows add value to your life, I'm going to ask you to do three things. Share with a brother who needs it, leave us a review, and finally support the show so we can keep fighting.
