In this revisit of one of our episodes of The Manly Catholic, James and Father Dom sit down with Catholic author, speaker, and former LA County Sheriff's deputy Jesse Romero. Jesse brings his signature "power preaching with devil-destroying theology" to expose the realities of spiritual warfare in the modern world.

Jesse shares incredible, spine-chilling stories from his time working as a rookie cop in the mentally ill offenders unit at the LA County Jail, where he encountered notorious occult serial killers like Richard Ramirez. He details his own "Matrix red pill moment" when he witnessed firsthand the literal, physical inability of satanic killers to utter the words "Jesus is Lord".

So we're gonna be playing replaying some of the more popular episodes that we've had ⁓ over the last five years. Can you believe we've been doing this podcast for five years? So thank you all so much for your support, your prayers. We really appreciate it. ⁓ yeah, I just wanna to keep the Podcast rolling, and we'll be coming back in the fall with some new interviews, new episodes. And I can't wait to share that with you all then. Well, until then, go out there and be a saint. Hello, all, and welcome to another episode of the Manly Catholic. I am James, your host, and with me is Father Dom. Father Dom, how are you doing? Doing well, James. How are you? I'm doing well. Thank you. And today we have we're extremely honored and blessed to have a very special guest with us. ⁓ which is Jesse Romero. Jesse Romero, welcome to the Manly Catholic Podcast. Thanks for having me on, guys. Thank you very much. Yes, absolutely. So, for those of you don't know, Jesse, ⁓ if you are familiar at all with Catholic media, I'm almost a hundred percent sure you've heard of him. But he is most importantly a husband to Anita and father to four children. He is a Catholic author, speaker, and teacher on all things Catholic, especially with spiritual warfare and masculinity. He is a three-time World Police Olympics boxing champion, a former USA middleweight kickboxing champion, and a retired veteran of the LA County Sheriff Department. He has a master's degree in Catholic theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. Before and since then, he has spent his time teaching, speaking, writing, and gaming Catholic Bible studies, conferences, missions, and retreats on all matters relating to the Catholic faith. Jesse, your quote on your website kind of summarizes you perfectly. So if you don't mind, I'm just gonna, I'm just gonna read it. It says, if your parish suffers from low energy, call me. I can jumpstart it. I'm a full gospel, Bible-believing, born-again, spirit-filled, evangelical, orthodox Catholic Christian, washed and empowered by the blood of Jesus, with a Bible in one hand, with a rosary in my other hand, and with Jesus in my heart, you will hear the fullness of the Catholic faith in an evangelical style with devil destroying theology. That That is a perfect quote. Did you come up with that with yourself, or was that Anita? that was perfect. So ⁓ before we get to ⁓ the questions, we wanna of course start as always in prayer. So, Father Don, if you don't mind. Yeah, absolutely. ⁓ so usually I start I start with prayer. And before we get started with our podcast here, and and ⁓ I'm gonna do something a little bit differently. ⁓ we've talked about the power of ecclesiastical Latin, the church. church language and ⁓ how powerful it is in in the spiritual realm and and so we're we're gonna we're gonna pray the the pater nostril so it's little different today so so that's what we'll start with today our lord's prayer in latin let us begin in nomadrisanti amen pater noster qui sentieris sanctificator nomin tu adveniat regnant fiat voluntas tua sicutentiero et entera Panamnostrum Coterianum de Nobus Hodie, At the Mete Novas de Vita Nostra, Secretos de Midibus, Tabadoibus Nostris, At Nanos and Ducas and Tintacionum, Sendribra Nosem Malo, Amen. And Nomani Patri Sephili, the Spiritusanti, Amen. Well perfect. All right, Jesse. So the first question we always like to ask our guests is if you could be the patron saint of anything, what would it be and why? Patron saint of evangelization. ⁓ the the the most important the most important mission of the catholic faith is to get people to know know know jesus christ ⁓ the mission of the catholic church is is to make ⁓ is to is to bring in the the social kingship of christ which means to make every country every nation every person ⁓ every individual Make Jesus Christ King and Lord of their hearts. So I think ⁓ if I could be the patron saint of something, I'd want to be the patron saint of evangelization. Perfect. And then if you could sit down with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why? I would ⁓ love to sit down with the blessed Virgin Mary and ask her all the questions about the silent years of Jesus from the age of 12 to the age of of of 30, basically. There just so much, you know, because we you have Hollywood, you know, with a series called the The Chosen trying to fill in the lost years of Jesus. And they, you know, they probably get some things right, but there's a lot of artistic license. I would like to sit with the Blessed Virgin Mary so she can set the record straight. Now, do you have a specific question? I know you said you have a lot of questions. Is there one question that's really digging at you that you want to know and that you want to ask her? ⁓ Yeah, probably probably the one question that that I would want to know from her is when she came to understand that she was the mediatrix of all graces, that she was the queen mother, that she was the new Eve, were those things all known immediately among her conception, or does she start learning or understanding this experientially, living with Jesus Christ, the Son of God? Yeah, I would like to know that too. There's so many questions I wanna I wanna know. Mary, Mary, she's close to my heart for sure. Absolutely. Yeah. So all right, Jesse. So in your biography ⁓ on your website, you state I'm a straight shooter, as we mentioned in the quote. I shoot straight from the heart. I have conviction, passion, I give straight talk, no nonsense, no spin, blue collar, Bible centered, holy spirit, firebrand, catholicism. So listening to your talks on YouTube, I pretty much have been watched all of them. ⁓ I can say I 100% agree with and I I mean if they we had a hundred Catholics like Jesse Romero, I think the world would be a much better place. But if you don't mind, Jesse, can you just give our listeners, maybe those who don't know, just a little bit of background on you, what where you know what led you to where you are today. You know, one of the most well-known sought-after speakers in in the Catholic front. I was born and raised in Southern California. My parents are from Mexico. I will I grew up in a Catholic culture. In a suburb of Los Angeles. ⁓ I grew up at a time when there was just a lot of ⁓ you know, a young kid in the 60s, a teenager in the 70s, young man in the 80s. ⁓ what St. John Paul II would call the culture of death. For me, it was normal. But looking back at it, it was a it was a culture of death. And I and I saw I remember growing up in the in a Hispanic enclave, they call them barrios, barrios. ⁓ And and I found there it was very common amongst the the Catholic community, the Catholic ⁓ you know population there, that witchcraft, santeria, and Satanism was practiced alongside with the Catholic faith. I knew that was intuitively wrong as a young man, but I would see that syncretism within the Mexican Catholic community as a very young man. I also lived about 15 minutes from Hollywood. And I also ⁓ you know, was very ⁓ I would keep up with the pop culture and I would see that one after one actor, entertainer after another would openly admit in interviews that they had given their life to Satan. I also saw in the 80s, I saw the music, it started, I started seeing a change in the music where. satanic lyrics, ⁓ satanic album covers with satanic insignia was becoming more and more prevalent. So you know this is something that I was noticing growing up, you know, 15 minutes away from Hollywood. And it was a lot of these experiences that started forming forming me intellectually. And I started realizing that life is black and white. You're either a Christ-centered Catholic Or you're not. And if you're a lukewarm Catholic, you may not realize it, but that means that that Satan is the center of your life because Satan runs this world. I think it was very early on in my 20s as a young rookie cop. I started seeing real realistically, I started understanding that the criminal justice system it was beyond law enforcement and the courts and politicians to repair. I started seeing very early on as a rookie cop. That the only solution that the human race has is to turn radically to the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no other solution. Yeah. Amen. Yeah. I mean, one of the main reasons I know you're close with Father Chad Ripper, but you speak a lot about obviously the diabolical spiritual warfare, things like that. If you don't mind sharing one or two personal stories of encounters that you have, I think a big misconception in our world, our society is that the devil isn't real. You know, he's just this figment figment of our imagination or something the church made up, you know, to control people or whatever. But I mean, clearly reading from your books. ⁓ he you've had very real and personal and pretty scary encounters. I think most people would call scary. Yeah, that's I that that's the biggest lie of Satan, though, isn't it? It's I don't exist. Right. I mean, if he can get a lot of people to think that, then what you know, we're in a world of hurt. Right. Yeah. So it's and I I I think I think it'd be good for a lot of our listeners to really understand, you know, because a lot of our listeners are are men. That that's our target audience, right? We're trying to bring men back into church, deeper relationship with. With God. And one thing that we want to really start, you know, hammering home is that, you know, there there is vice, there is sin, there, there is lie, right? There, you know, our secular culture is always telling us that, you know, subjectivism and relativism is okay, pluralism, universalism, all these terrible isms, right, that pull you away from God. And they all stem from the very foundation of that number one lie, you know, Satan isn't real. And and that's One of the first things he's Satan even said to God too was, you know, non-serving him. I I I won't serve. And so he's he's always working at us in that in that way. And our secular culture is just this toxic soup of this. So so Jesse, you you've been in this, you've been in that world as this spiritual combat for for so many, so many decades. ⁓ you know, to to our to our listeners who who are men, you know, what what can what can you say to them about about this? Every man has to make a decision. you're either for God or against him. And if you just say, Well, you know what, I don't want to just get involved. I just want to play golf on the weekend and just kind of chill out. Well, you know what? Then you're on you're on Satan's team because there's only two teams out there. First John three ten, the Bible says that we're either children of God or children of Satan. There's only two teams. If you're a lukewarm Catholic, you're on Satan's team. I'll tell you what jump started me. I can I can even remember the year. It was it was ⁓ 1983. I was a rookie cop, ⁓ Just graduated from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Academy. I was assigned to the Los Angeles County Jail, which is the largest jail in the world. There's about 14,000, 15,000 inmates, you know, ⁓ in the jail system at any given moment. ⁓ I was assigned there before you go to a patrol station. You have to do a couple of years, work the work the custody division so you could understand the criminal mind. I kind of undernew understood the criminal mind just by growing up in Southern California, but it was ⁓ working in the county jail for a few years. ⁓ was a higher school of learning. I was assigned for about the first six months to the mentally ill offenders unit. And that's the section of the jail where they kept at that time, ⁓ they kept all the serial killers, the mass murders, the psychopaths, and the sociopaths. And ⁓ a lot of these ⁓ killers that were in one man cells, solitary confinement, a lot of them had satanic tattoos I would notice because I you'd have to feed them, you know, three times a day and go down with the cart and give them a magazine, take them out. For 30 minutes of exercise in the yard by themselves with three officers and a sergeant. So you, you know, you get to know these guys, you start talking to them. And I noticed a lot of these guys had satanic tattoos, a lot of these guys had satanic Bibles in their jail cells. ⁓ all these guys actually had ⁓ you know, ⁓ piles and piles of pornography in their jail cell. Well, I remember having gone to mass one day, I worked from four to midnight, I went to one o'clock mass. ⁓ and at the second reading was from Saint Paul's letter to the Corinthians, nobody can say Jesus is Lord except by the power of the Holy Spirit. And so I'm sitting there at Mass. I'm a 21-year-old Southern California liberal, you know, progressive liberal. I'm saying, Man, that's not true. Anybody can say Jesus is Lord. Come on, I'm rolling my eyes at Mass, okay. Hearing the second reading, I'm arguing with Saint Paul, okay. Right there in the at Holy Mass. So ⁓ got out of mass. Went to my house, grabbed my uniform, went to work, and I said, Hmm, there's a bunch of satanic serial killers here. I'm gonna ask them if they can say Jesus is Lord. I'm I'm sure they could. I'm sure the Bible's wrong about this. I'm sure St. Paul is wrong. So ⁓ there's a 200 cells, everybody there is a killer or mass murderer or serial killer. And I knew which were the satanic killers because we had a you know a ⁓ index file, cell three, cell seven, cell nine, cell thirteen. These had killed for specifically, they were occult killers, occult serial killers. Now I remember in cell number three, there was a very famous ⁓ mass murder. His name was Richard Ramirez, the night stalker. ⁓ he was he was very well known in Southern California. He killed 40 women. And ⁓ yeah, he did he did some ungodly things to them as well that I don't want to mention. And so I remember, so we go up, I go up to Rich Ramirez cell, it's it's it's dinner time, but we're gonna feed him. I open the steel door, there's the little compartment where you stick the tray in and the inmate receives it. And and I tell I tell Ramirez, I said, Hey, I said, ⁓ I'm just ⁓ wondering if you want an extra portion. Or if you want me to get you an officer's meal, because the officers we had our own dining room and they fed us like royalty. I said, I'll tell you what. I said, I'll go to the officer's kitchen and bring you whatever you want. All you gotta do is humor me. He goes, What do I have to do, officer Romero? I said, just say Jesus is Lord. He goes, Is that it? Is that it? I said, Yeah, yeah, just just say Jesus is Lord. Now, this is Rich Ramirez who killed 40 women and cannibalized some of them. And so he's like. No, no, no problem. I mean, you could see he wanted a good meal. And so he tried to say Jesus is Lord, like you and I would say. And all of a sudden, I could see that his mouth just it just slams shut like if his jaw was wired, or like somebody just put duct tape on his mouth. And now he's trying to utter and growl and say, Jesus is Lord. And you could see that he's really trying because he wants this extra meal. His face is turning as red as an apple. And I and I'm seeing that he's starting to hold his neck like if something is choking him. You could see something is actually choking him. His countenance starts changing. He becomes very angry. And ⁓ and and I'm there with two officers and a sergeant. We could feel in that section of the jail the temperature dropped from like 70 to about 35 degrees. There was a cold chill, an icy chill. That came into that section of the jail, and you could feel a cold breeze from a cell coming out towards us. The other guys that were with me said, Romero, knock it off, man. This is creepy, knock it off. I closed the cell door and I walked backwards from the cell, from the cell, from Rich Romere's cell. ⁓ and I said to myself, Whoa, this guy. This guy could not say Jesus is Lord. I'm saying, hmm. Maybe the Bible's right. And what I did, the next guy in the cell, he was a Hell's Angels hitman. I asked him to say Jesus is Lord. Now he was not a satanic killer, he just killed for the Hell's Angels for narcotics. He was able to say Jesus is Lord. I moved over to the next cell. The next cell, there was a guy from the Mexican mafia. Who would kill people for drugs out in the streets of Los Angeles? He was able to say Jesus is Lord. The only people, and I did this with two other satanic serial killers, the only people that were not able to say Jesus is Lord, as St. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 12:3, was people that killed for Satan. Other people that were killers there, they were able to say that. So at that moment, I said to myself, I'm 21 years old. That was an incredible revelation to me. It was a matrix red pill moment. I said, Sure, wow, wow. Maybe the Bible is true. If the Bible's right about that, what else is the Bible correct about? So to me, it was I just turned 60 about six months ago. At the age of 21, my conversion sparked. Through a conversation with one of the most famous serial killers in the United States, were what I take for granted, I've been saying for six, I can say Jesus is Lord, Jesus is Lord. I take that for granted. Richard Ramirez, rest in peace, he's already dead. He was not able to say that. He was physically incapacitated from saying that, and other satanic serial killers in the LA County jail. Could not physically utter those words that you and I as Catholics we take for granted. Now I'll tell you, I'll I'll tell you, I'll tell you ⁓ as I drove home that night, I had a long conversation with God. I was looking up in the sky at the Fife Freeway. And I and I remember I said it was it was kind of a half-hearted prayer and a conversation. I said, Lord, if I only had half the faith in you. Of what the hillside strangler, the freeway killer, the night stalker, their faith in the devil puts my faith in God to shame. And that's that's what started in my heart. This this this percolate or this what I would call this prick of conscience, where I started saying, you know what, I better make a decision ⁓ because I I I've been straddling the fence for 21 years and I don't like it. That's powerful. I was getting chills as you were telling that story as well. Jesse, just real quick, have have you seen Satanism on the rise here in in America and all your travels and all your you know deliverance ministry work? And you know, because because we have a chapel here, you know, exposition of the blessed sacrament here at ⁓ Our Lady of Constellation Parish. And ⁓ you know, I'm starting to find satanic rosaries now in in the in the chapel. I in the in this is this is ⁓ you know a white collar area and you know there's you wouldn't expect something like that here, you know. And so what is your take on that? Absolutely, there's a rise in Satanism. So I'm gonna take the gloves off here and I'm just gonna I'm gonna just put it out there. Let it out. The the reason there's a rise in Satanism is ⁓ in fact, there's even a a British researcher who wrote an article. He's an Oxford he ⁓ he he he's a professor at Oxford University. And and the article that he wrote is called Satanism is now the fastest growing religion in the US. ⁓ the it's his name is Dr. James Phillips. So what I'm saying is validated by the by by the data. I'll tell you why there's a rise in Satanism in in America. Less people are becoming are being baptized, okay? There's less baptisms. Baptism. Is the first line of defense because it's a minor exorcism. So if less people are being baptized, that means there's less people that are being exorcised. That means there's more people that are just are just basically pagans and they're susceptible ⁓ to diabolical affliction. Second reason why there's a rise in Satanism what is the what is what heals the soul? It's not going to You know, a Protestant ministry and they lay hands on you and speak in tongues. No, the healing of the soul comes from the sacraments, from the sacrament of confession. That's where the healing of the soul comes from. Objective sanctifying grace that heals the soul. And the Holy Eucharist is what heals the soul, not 10 people laying hands on you, speaking in tongues and giving you a liver quiver. Okay. That may give you emotional consolation, but that doesn't heal the soul. Okay, that does not objectively heal the soul. That subjectively makes you feel better until you come back in two weeks so they can lay hands on you. That's why we pray before you go to Holy Communion. Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. We Catholics have the weapons to fight Satanism, but there's less people receiving the sacraments, less people are being baptized. Less people are being are marrying in the Catholic Church. When I was a kid, Catholic weddings were like a ⁓ train. Well, you know, on Saturdays, one wedding after another. I remember it. Now you ask the average Catholic priest, he goes, Well, I think probably I probably do about six or ten weddings a year. Yeah. So more people are living in fornication. And so there's less sacramental grace flowing in the body of Christ. Where there's a vacuum in sacramental grace, there's an opening for the diabolic. That's the first point. So, on a spiritual level, this is why there's more satanic activity, is because there's less sacramental grace flowing into the body of Christ. And sacramental grace is what protects us from the diabolical. Second reason is because the Satanists are very shrewd. They've annexed themselves to the Democrat Party. Why do I say that? The Democrat Party right now. Which basically runs everything, and they're like a bull in a china shop, they're destroying everything. You'll find that, for example, whenever the pro-bort Democrats are in a state capitol, you know, trying to, you know, ⁓ protest some pro-life piece of legislation, who's standing next to them in Austin, Texas, and and in Sacramento, you'll have Satanists right next to them holding signs up. Says, hail Satan, a Democrat proport says, My body, my choice. They stand next to each other and they lobby for the same thing. Why? Because for the Satanists, they've actually said this. These are their leaders, these are their their their spokesmen. That abortion is a sacrament for Satanists. It's a it's their sacrament. And so, of course, they fight hard along with the Democrats, because for the Democrats. It's probably greed and money. And again, they probably also they're ⁓ part part diabolical affliction on their they're intellectually blind to what they're doing. But for the Satanists, this is their sacrament. This is why they fight so hard. And you'll see also the rise in Satanism, they become so bold, they're even ⁓ trying to start satanic clubs all across public schools in the United States. They they're they're trying to become mainstream because. Since they're annexed with the Democrat Party, they figure, hey, we got we got political cover. So they're starting after school Satan clubs to indoctrinate public school. And guess what? 94 or 96 percent of Catholics go to public schools. They're targeting our kids. Yeah. You'll also find Satanism has become so mainstream. You find Amazon.com and Walmart.com, you can go on their websites. And you can find a satanic Bible, a satanic coloring book. ⁓ you can buy a pentagram and something to wear around your neck from Amazon or Walmart.com. You'll also find that ⁓ many city councils around the country they commence their speeches, their their their invocations, and they'll allow somebody from the temple of Satan to come and offer an invocation at a city council meeting. We we also know that the hip hop culture. ⁓ the the the the the the gangster rap music industry and the heavy metal music they don't even hide it listen to their lyrics they openly glorify satan and they throw all these satanic signs ⁓ you know during their performances we also have the satanists they're erecting ⁓ statues around the country here in Phoenix Arizona the Knights of Columbus that I'm part of we erected an Nativity scene in the in front in front of the state capitol we got permission to do so guess what 20 feet to our right, guess who erected a satanic nativity scene? The Temple of Satan, the the Phoenix, Arizona chapter. They're everywhere, just like we're everywhere, they're everywhere. Now they're not big in numbers, but they're very organized. They're a lot more organized than we are. ⁓ you'll also find ⁓ there's ⁓ here in ⁓ in Arizona on the way to Tucson, on the freeway on the way to Tucson, it there's about a two-mile stretch. That says ⁓ it says adopted by the temple of Satan, these two miles. So they're trying to normalize themselves and curry favor with politicians. and so, you know, so once again, it is on the rise. Again, here in the Diocese of Phoenix, they try to consecrate the city of Scottsdale about three months ago. And myself and 300 Catholics went out there and prayed for three days in front of a satanic conference that they had at the Sawar Hotel. ⁓ and basically ⁓ did prayers of reparation for three days straight. So ⁓ yeah it it's it's definitely on the rise. Yeah it's very public now it's it's not private. You know it's not it's not wolves in sheep's clothing. It's the wolves are just they're out there. It they're everywhere. Well I think the worst part too just you mentioned abortion. I mean who are the two biggest pro abortion advocates? It's so-called Catholics Nancy Pelosi and President Biden, right? And I mean that's that's the main issue too. I mean, you talked about just these Catholics who need to wake up and not receive their sacraments, and that's leading to all these other issues as well. So just I know in in one of your talks too, you talk about how Satan, there's four ways that Satan basically infiltrates society. And you mentioned politicians was one. I think that's Pretty much obvious now. And you mentioned the Democratic Party as well, who who seems to be kind of leading that. Can you speak, maybe touch briefly on those? You you can talk about politics if you want as well, but then the other three as well. Yeah, it's in it's in the catechism, paragraph four ⁓ seven. So this way I don't get accused of Jess, you're making this stuff up. I'll put a link in the show notes for you guys too. So no Jesse is actually reading from the catechism. Yeah. Paragraph four ⁓ seven, ⁓ it it's it's it says a hard battle. The doctrine of original sin, closely connected with that of redemption by Christ, provides lucid discernment of man's situation and activity in the world. By our first parent's sin, the devil has acquired, look here it is, a certain domination over man. Okay. So we're not like Martin Luther said that mankind is totally depraved, Lutheran Calvin. That's not true. But we're wounded because of original sin. And we're born in in original sin, that Satan has acquired a certain domination over men. That's called concupiscence. So, because of our fallen nature, because of our inclination to evil, the catechism says: ignorance of the fact that man has a wounded nature inclined to evil gives rise to serious errors in the areas of education, politics, social action. And morals. That's the fourfold attack of Satan upon the human race. But he you but again he uses fallen men to do that. Fallen men, Fauci, Biden, Pelosi. I mean, the list goes on. There's the list is too, you know, Klaus Schwab, Yval Harari. The list goes on and all. He uses because fallen men are narcissists. They believe in the unholy trinity of me, myself, and I. And so What does sin do? Sin causes intellectual blindness, St. Thomas Aquinas says. And sin also causes a hardening of the heart. And so our world, and many people in our church as well, okay, because they're because they're they're guided by their concupiscence, they're intellectually blind, their heart is hardened, so the devil uses them like puppets. To maneuver through politics, education, social action, and morals. Well, I mean, when it comes to education, that's critical race theory, common core, gender studies, queer studies, ⁓ values clarification, moral relativism. ⁓ do I need to go on and on? Our education is Marxist, it's been hijacked by Satan. Using weak fallen men. The next one, politics. That goes without saying. Okay. ⁓ politic the Democratic Party right now is the tool of Satan to promote the two most egregious sins that the church calls, you know, these are two of the four sins that scream the vengeance of God. homosexual, so-called homosexual marriage, and the killing of an innocent person, abortion. Okay, of the four worst sins, I mean, these are the these are the ones that call down God's vengeance upon the human race. The Democrats promote two of the four. ⁓ it's that's that they're totally behind this in all their policies. And I would even say they violate the others as well. ⁓ the the four the third thing, social action. The devil uses social action. Social action, well, have you heard of Antifa, Black Lives Matter? Occupy Wall Street, these are all satanic organizations that want to destroy the patriarchal society as set up by God. And by the way, bad men have always used anarchists in times past. Adolf Hitler, ⁓ he had a coalition of anarchists called the Brown Shirts as well that to beat up his political opponents. So the devil will always find these young, malformed in their conscience, anarchists, ⁓ to try to. To promote social action through violence and through also misinformation and disinformation. The last thing the catechism says is ⁓ the devil affects morality, morals, morals. This is, I mean, we've entered into a time that Saint Sister Lucia calls diabolical disorientation. Isaiah the prophet warned us that we would enter a time when when we would call black, white and white, black good, evil, and evil, good. Right, wrong, and wrong, right. We are now the times that Isaiah prophesied diabolical disorientation, mass confusion, mass psychosis. This all comes from Satan. Satan is he's the if you pull the curtain, you know, you know, to the to the wizard of Oz and you see Oz, okay. ⁓ Oz is is like Biden, Fauci, the communists, the globalists, the great reset people, you know, ⁓ the the CCP. ⁓ the Obama administration. But who's behind that? It's Satan. Satan, the Bible says in in ⁓ first John 5 19, it says, We are of God, comma, and the whole world, though it doesn't say 90% of the world, it is a 50%. It says the whole world is in the power of the devil. And this is why Jesus told the devil, he says, You would have no power over me if it was not given to you. He says, But But this is your time, and this is your kingdom. What's your kingdom? This world. We are here to get out of here as Catholics. And Assius Lewis says the reason we are here as Catholic Christians, we are here on a sabotage mission to reconquer the what's been stolen by God the Father through the fall and through the sin of Adam and Eve and through our own sin. We want to bring back the scattered family of Adam and Eve under the unified family. Of Christ the King. Amen. That that's exactly what we're trying to get the guys who watch this podcast to understand and realize. And the way you speak about it, yes, this is the world that we're living in. But you know what? This is a good fight, too. And here are the tools to do it, right? We fight with power and the tools of the Holy Spirit, and we fight with the sacraments as well, too. And I get fired up on it when I hear about this because I know that that. This is a great time to be to be Catholic. Well, this is a time to fight too. I mean, this is the one worthy fight that as men, I mean, I think that's one reason why men get so drawn to, you know, military movies and things like that, is because they, okay, how would I react in that situation? But like you don't have to imagine that you are in that right now. Coffee and prayer. It's the perfect blend. Mystic Monk Coffee isn't just another cup of coffee. So I guess as because you share one story in your book that I loved. ⁓ when the father ⁓ pretty much exercised a demon from his son, you I forget what book you told that story in, but can you kind of touch briefly? I just it speaks to how powerful a man is, especially a Catholic man, and what what we have with it, obviously through through Jesus. We share in the power of God. He gives us a share of his power. That's baptism, yeah. So yeah, if you you can touch on that story briefly and then just kind of relay that into you know the power that we have being Catholics. I mean, the devil's scared of us in reality. If you the the the church teaches that if you live in a state of sanctifying grace, the devil fears you. In fact, who actually said that Saint Teresa of Lesua, doctor of the church. She says devils, demons are cowards. ⁓ when they see a person in a state of grace. This is a doctrine of the church. Why? Because being in a state of grace means you're in a right relationship with God. It means that you're united to God, you're in God, and God is in you. And so when the devil looks at you, he sees Christ in you, which is which which which again is an ominous sight for him. ⁓ and so as Catholics, the most important thing that we can do. Is or the way we we fight back against the diabolical is with our faith. What I mean by our faith, you have to know Jesus, and you have to know the teachings of the church because the teachings of the church are going to move you in an area of virtue, holy habits, and right living. Demons are attracted to people that don't know their faith. You'll find People that are patients right now or penitents, meeting the the diocesan exorcist are generally people that don't know their faith. People that don't know their faith, that don't have a property formed moral conscience or easy pickings for the diabolical. This is why Hosea the prophet says, in I think it's chapter four, verse six, he says, My people are perishing for their lack of knowledge. So that's the first thing that we have to do. This is why St. Peter says ⁓ resist the devil by faith. What does he mean by that? That the intellect must be formed with the word of God. Too many Catholics' intellect is oatmeal. They just don't know their faith. They could tell you about baseball scores and football touchdowns and golf champions, but they don't know. The only thing that's going to protect them from the diabolical are Catholic faith. Okay, that's the that that's why it says in Hebrews chapter 11, verse 6 ⁓ without faith, it is impossible to please God. Impossible. That's number one. Number two, how do we protect ourselves? If when you know your faith, now you live an ordered life. The devil's afraid of order, the devil's he's attracted by disorder, internal disorder. Exterior disorder, vocabulary disordered, the devil is attracted by disordered lives. Interior, your when your interiority is disordered by mortal sin. Okay. So when we order our lives, in fact, just to show you the most powerful prayer that we have in the church is called the Catholic Mass. You know what the Catholic Mass is called in the general instruction of the Roman Missal? It says, order of the Mass. Order. The devil is afraid of order. He's afraid of somebody that has an ordered prayer life, prays three times a day, morning, midday, and evening. He's afraid of somebody who has an ordered sacramental life, goes to Mass every Sunday as the third commandment commands us and goes to confession often, at least once a month, according to St. Father to be okay. John Paul II and Fulton Sheen, the late Catholic should be going to confession at least once a month. When the devil sees that type of order, he flees. He can't because you're in a state of grace. Also, what does the devil fear? He fears fraternity. This is why it's important to Catholic men hang out with other Catholic men, read the Bible, pray together, encourage each other. Iron sharpens iron and one man sharpens another. It's easy to be picked off by the diabolical if you're trying to live the Christian life by yourself. It is impossible. That's why Christ said go up there two by two. And St. Paul always had a battle buddy, always had a battle buddy. Number three, the third thing that is that keeps us strong, okay, is what I would call constancy. In other words, the devil looks for inconsistencies in your speech and in your life. You can't be teaching RCIA and flirting with the secretary at work. Your life has to be constant. Your your your your your sacramental life, your interior life, your vocabulary. We need constancy and fidelity in our life because again, the devil attacks a person who both blesses and curses with the same mouth. And so we can't we can't open any doors or any portals to the diabolical by living inconsistent lives, or what James the Apostle says. ⁓ a double-minded man is an unstable in all his ways. It's you're right. The order of the mass, and that's why the mass has been attacked so powerfully ever since the late 60s, the 70s, the 80s, the 90s, the early 2000s. And that was one of the reasons why I left the church. I didn't see anything masculine about the mass. I didn't see any order. I saw disorder. I saw this mass changing, or this mass changing, or this one different, and this one different. And What we're seeing today, at least from the seminarians that I went to school in and in seminary, I've only been ordained a priest almost two years now. And we're we're coming out and we're on fire for the mass. We're on fire for the order of the mass, and we're on fire for the deep reverence and the deep liturgy and the traditions. And these things are coming back. And it's the young people who want this. It's the a lot of it is the young people, at least that's what I've been experiencing. ⁓ I try and celebrate here the most ordered Norse Ordo. Mass I can celebrate here. And I've had parishioners come up to me because I pray the Latin Mass as well. Too father, can you bring the Latin mass here as well? ⁓ and unfortunately, I I can't here in our diocese, but there's people who want it. And and and say you're right. I never thought about that, Jesse. The order of the mass, Satan does not like order, he likes chaos, he likes vice, he he likes he likes that stuff, and that's where he'll be. And that's that's what he tries to do. And Order of the mass. That's where that's where it's at. People want that. People want the beautiful, beautiful, reverent liturgy and our traditions and our history. If you forget this, if you get if you get forget our church history, ⁓ man, I think you can just make it. That's Protestantism. You can just make it however you want. Yeah, I think too. I grew up Protestant, Jesse. And I think for myself, I was always looking for that spiritual high. So to speak, because I always get get jealous of people who would, you know, have their hands up in the air, like they had this spiritual, like the Holy Spirit was moving through them. I I never had that. And then I became Catholic a few years ago. And going to Mass every Sunday and realizing that there is structure, there's order, as you mentioned, and there's meaning behind every single thing that is done at mass. And knowing that is that exactly what You talked about is the order of your prayer life, the order of your habits that you do, knowing your faith, it all is just it builds up walls. I mean, I that's how I kind of look at it, is it's Satan can't get over these walls that we keep and you're laying foundations every single day, is forming those habits, those spiritual habits, you know, a spiritual muscle, so to speak. So, and I wanted to talk you to you, Jesse, as well about about fatherhood. And obviously the fatherhood crisis that is going on in the culture nowadays. And I guess speak to, you know, I know you talk again with Father Ripper quite a bit, as the importance of the father and in being the man of the household and leading his family. Because I mean, obviously, our ultimate job, our vocation is to lead our family to heaven. So if you can just speak about that and the importance of fatherhood. You you want you want me to share that story also about ⁓ yeah, yeah. I and I've seen this several times. Okay. Just just so you know. Demons are very legalistic. They're like lawyers from hell. They operate on very strict legal ⁓ laws that God has decreed. God has given us physical laws, God has given us spiritual laws. Physical law, the law of gravity. What comes up must come down. If I throw this iPhone up a thousand times, it's going to come down a thousand times. Why? God wrote that law into the cosmos. God also wrote spiritual laws. Demons don't have bodies, so demons are bound by spiritual laws. One of the spiritual laws that God has written in the cosmos is that grace, the economy of grace, flows from God the Father through patriarchy. This is not to say that men are better. This is just the way just God has ordained it. Okay. In fact, St. John Paul II said that the the the Catholic father. Is an icon of God the Father to his kids. Okay, something that's church teaching. ⁓ Saint John Chrysostom says the Catholic father and husband is the bishop of the home. Bishop. Look at that word, Saint John Chrysol. So the economy of grace from the God, the Trinity, the Godhead, flows through patriarchy. This is why, by the way, the devil is using these anarchists to destroy civil patriarchy. Because civil patriarchy protects us, law enforcement, the military. The devil's going after civil patriarchy because that comes from God, Romans 13. The devil's also going after spiritual patriarchy because that's what protects our souls. He's going after the Pope, the bishops, and the priests. Okay, since 2002. that's another conversation in itself. But he's going after bishops and priests, ⁓ the German bishops. Why? Because they're the spiritual. Watchmen of the new house of Israel. If he could take off these watchmen, guess what? The rest of us are unprotected. That's a satanic attack. Now, the attack that affects us, the average rank and file Catholic, Joe Six Pack in the pew, is the fathers and husbands and grandfathers. You're a patriarch of your domestic church. The catechism calls the Catholic common 1656 and 1666, the domestic church. Well, guess what? What's the what's the perfect icon of the domestic church, the holy family? What do we have there? We have patriarchy. Saint Joseph's job was to lead, protect, and provide the holy family. It wasn't Jesus' job. It wasn't our lady's job. Yet Jesus and our lady are both ⁓ full of grace, both immaculately conceived. You know, well, Jesus is God, you know, he he just shares the nature of God the Father, born without sin, never sinned, perfect. Both of them didn't have concupiscence. And guess what? The only one that had concupiscence that wasn't full of grace, immaculate conceive, was Saint Joseph. He was the boss of the family. Why? Headship. God operates through headship. Ephesians 5 22. I know women don't like this, but this is old Catholic teaching. And God gave headship, not to be ⁓ you know, ⁓ ⁓ Chapo Guzmán that has a you know harem of a brothel in Mexico with with the cartels or a or a terrace with his brothels over in the Middle East. God gave headship to protect women and children. So it's a it's a responsibility that Catholic men have. And this is why, by the way, more Catholic men, objectively speaking, will end up in hell than women. Easy. I'll tell you why. Easy. Because there's more responsibility for a Catholic man than for a Catholic woman. A Catholic man at his particular judgment is gonna have to answer for the entire family. You are the priest of the home, you were the bishop of the home, you are the Saint Joseph of home. So let's look at Jewish culture. What is Saint Joseph? What was his job according to Jewish culture? The Jewish man's job was his job was to catechise the family, wife, and kids. His job was to lead the family in prayers. All the meals wasn't Mary, wasn't Jesus. Joseph led them in prayers. It was Joseph's job to take them to synagogue. It was Joseph's job to take them to the temple. It was Joseph's job to pray the numbers, ⁓ chapter 624, blessing over them every night. May the Lord bless you and keep you safe. Joseph blessed Jesus and Mary. When you understand that God's grace, the Trinity's grace, flows through patriarchy. Yes, God chose. Misfits like you and I called fathers to lead, protect, and provide our families in this life into heaven. And and and you could just look at like any book on canonized saints, like the Butler's Dictionary of Saints. Guess what? 70, 80 percent of the people named there are women. Why? Their job is easier. Why? The Bible says, submit to your husband. Guess what? It's your job to get me to heaven. Okay. Your job to get me to heaven. You're the priest. And it says women are saved through motherhood, through childbearing. A woman's job, though it appears hard in this life, like what? I gotta submit to this lunkhead. Well, guess what? It's in that surrender and that Christian, and it's not unconditional, by the way. Ephesians 5:22 is not an un, you know, you're not called to be a slave. The word is kupataso. It's a Greek word that means it's a military word that means. The wife is supposed to work under the mission of the husband. The husband's mission as the general is to get the family to heaven. That's that the family is your military unit. You're the general, you're called to get them to heaven. Submitting to your husband, that Greek word hopitaso means the wife is under the mission of the husband. In other words, she's the helpmate. She's supposed to assist the husband in getting the family to heaven. And so, guess what? In the New Testament. Every time every time St. Paul brings up the Adam and Eve account, guess who gets blamed in the New Testament for the sin of Eve? Not Eve. Not every time St. Paul mentions in 1 Corinthians 15 and Romans 5, he blames Adam. It's your fault. The human race fell into sin because of you. Why? Because he had patriarchal authority to protect Eve, and he did not do that. No, he let the snakes right in. He didn't stand at the front of the door and said, Over my dead body, over my dead body. Satan, the serpent didn't even look for Adam. Adam wasn't there. He's I don't care. I'm not gonna look for Adam. And he goes, he goes right for Eve. The serpent went for right for Eve because Eve is, you know, St. Thomas Aquinas said about creation of Eve. ⁓ last in execution was first in intention, you know. And so that's Eve. And Adam was given charge to protect Eve and the garden, his home. The garden is his home. And Satan just went. Right for Eve, because she has a womb, right? Yeah. Because she has a womb. That's right. Yep. And he hates every every woman the devil sees as a reminder of the incarnation. This is why he hates women, because women can bear children, and every child that's born is an is a representation of the incarnation, which is the reason why Satan was expelled from heaven, because he refused to submit to the plan of God, which included the incarnation. Yeah, and that that's why contraception is is so evil, right? And ⁓ abortion, abortion is evil, absolutely. But contraception keeps the sperm from hitting the egg. Therefore, no soul is created. In abortion, there is a soul. There's there's someone destined for heaven. There is a soul. Contraception stops that. So I contraception against reception. It's yeah, yeah. ⁓ Yeah, it's ⁓ it's called the sin of onanism in the old testament. Yes, yeah, the sin of onanism. But I'll tell you in America right now, ⁓ unfortunately, our society since probably the sixties, our society's been involved in patricide. What I mean by what I mean by my father killing, ⁓ as a result of what came in the sixties. And I'll tell you the threefold attack against the Catholic Church are these three things that these are our three enemies. We'll be fighting these three enemies until the second coming of Christ. Modernism. Marxism and Masonry. Masonry. Modernism, Marxism, and Masonry as Americans, as people of faith, as Catholics, this is the threefold enemy of of patriots, conservatives, and people of faith. We will be fighting these three M's until the second coming of Christ. And most people don't even know what those are. Yeah. Yeah. Major catechetical fallout in the past four years. Long catechetical. A lot of catechesis needs to be going on. Yeah, yeah. But yeah, there is a there's a fire, there's a renewal. Like I know Father Dom says a lot of young people, especially the Latin mass. I mean, obviously it's been restricted. I don't know if it's restricted where you are too, Jesse, but ⁓ I noticed hearing Father Ripper talk about the the power of the Latin language, especially in exorcism, is just barring away, just so powerful, so powerful. But ⁓ the reason that is is because in John chapter 19. ⁓ when ⁓ when our when when the the sign was put over our lord's head and it was ordained by by ⁓ Pontius Pilate, ⁓ Jesus you know, here is Jesus Christ, the King of the Jews. The Bible says it was put in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin. So because though those three languages ⁓ really spoke a true statement, truly that you know, this is the king of the Jews. That's a true statement, those dead in mockery. So those three languages, the church has said, are now enshrined forevermore as sacred languages and have a particular efficacy against the diabolical. I didn't know that. That's powerful. Yeah. Well, Jesse, I know as time flies when you're having fun. This has been a blast. I have about a thousand more follow up questions, but I know your time is valuable. If we can do this again, we'll do this again. Yes, absolutely. We'd love it. Call me next month. We'll do part two. Perfect. Sounds good. Well, I do want to ask, always ask our our guest too. The final question is so just remember in your in your mind, in your words, what does it mean to be a manly Catholic? What does it mean? What does it mean to be a manly Catholic? A manly Catholic ⁓ would embrace the words of St. John the Baptist and a plan to his life. ⁓ he must increase and I must decrease. ⁓ a truly Catholic man. Understands that we're under authority. And ⁓ when we look at the Lord Jesus Christ in an image or a crucifix, in our mind we should say, I'm not even fit to tie his sandal. That's a Catholic man. A Catholic man understands that we're under authority, that we have a ⁓ king, the king of kings and lord of lords, that we're simply soldiers of Christ, we're men on a mission, we're disciples of Christ. And a Catholic man is one that understands ⁓ his pecking order in the social kingship of Christ. Amen. Because they manage better than myself. Well, Jesse, before we wrap up, I do want to give you a chance, you know, where can people find you, connect with you, and ⁓ and then we'll wrap up from there. Yeah, I started a an internet media. ⁓ me and my partner Terry Barber, it's called Virgin Most Powerful Radio. So if you want to listen to my my daily podcast, I'm on Virgin's Most Powerful Radio. ⁓ you can go right to the website. I'm on many ⁓ on many of the ⁓ social media platforms, I'm also on those. Except Facebook, they kicked us out. also you can if you want to invite me your parish to give to go ⁓ what I when people say so when if I invite you to our parish, what do I tell people? I say you're gonna get power preaching with devil destroying theology. P PW D D T. Power Preaching with Devil Destroying Theology. Go to my website, jessyromero.com, and you can invite me there. And I'd love to go to your parish. And ⁓ if ⁓ if your parish ⁓ Suffers from low energy Catholicism. I can help you. I can help. I can help right. I can help I think so. I'm fired up right now. Let's go run through a wall or something. You need a t-shirt with all those ⁓ abbreviations listed for you, Jesse. ⁓ well, Jesse, it's been a blast. And yes, we would have to do part two. This has been an honor and a blessing. And ⁓ yeah, we'll ⁓ we'll definitely stay in touch. And I'll tell you what, let's do a part two next month. Let's let's let's do a narrow focus on the power of prayer. Okay. I think I'm gonna share some things that are gonna rock your audience they've never heard before on the power of prayer. And I'm gonna bring not only faith and anecdotal stories that I can tell you. I'll share the next next month the story of I saw a man who prayed over a son who was fully possessed. He raised his right hand over, and the power. Of a the father, the natural father praying an imprecatory prayer over the son, especially if the father is in a state of grace, ⁓ done in done in the home, it has the same efficacy that a Catholic priest would have. There's only two people that have the power to drive out a demon from a person. The Catholic priest with the mandate can drive out a demon. Okay. Now, any Catholic priest can do minor exorcisms. There's what's called inferior demons that can be driven out by any Catholic priest, confession, a blessing, minor exorcisms. But when you got the case of possession, that's different. Now the diocese has to get involved and the bishop has to assign a priest and give them permission. And the demon knows when the priest has permission. I've seen during sessions when a demon will speak right through the person and say, you know, you don't have permission. The bishop didn't give you. I don't have to leave. The demon will call you out. They know when you have the mandate or not. And so ⁓ this one case where the exorcist had not arrived. He was late to the session. And the young man, he's like 21, 22, he started manifesting violent, aggressive, demonic manifestations. I called up the priest. I said, Father, father. I said, he's manifesting. What do we do? He goes, Jess, I'm stuck in traffic. I'll be there in about 15 minutes. He said, Is his father there? I Yeah, his father's to my right. He goes, Goes, tell his father to lay his hand over his head and to drive that demon out. He goes, I he goes, lead him in a prayer and in precatory prayer. I said, Okay, hung up. I said, Mr. Garcia, get over here. Me, me, no, no, me, me, no, no, no. I'm not a priest, I'm not a priest. You know, he was all intimidated. I said, Get over here, put your right hand over your son. No, no, no, man. I'm not a priest, I'm not. I said, You're his father, you have authority, you have juridical authority over him to put your right hand over his head, you and a Catholic priest. Put your right hand over his head. See, see, see, Senor, see, Senor. And I just lay him through an impregatory prayer. I said, repeat after me. The kid was manifesting. It was just, I said, okay, repeat after me. ⁓ by the by the authority given to me by God the Father through natural law and divine positive law, as father of this son, I ordered what whatever demon is harassing or tormenting him to leave him right now in Jesus' name and go to the foot of the cross, that Jesus Christ may do with him as he wills. Mother Mary. Stomp this evil spirit under your immaculate feet. Virgin most powerful, pray for and protect my son. Saint Joseph Terrace, pray for him and protect my son. Guess what happened? Within one minute, this young man completely stopped diabolical manifestations. Completely stopped. The exorcist ran into the church, put a stole. He had his book, The Rite of Exorcism. He's sweating. Jesse, look here. I said, Where's he at? I said, he's right here, Father. The priest sat down, put a chair, sat in front of him, and the kid was completely calm. Like, what's going on? Okay. I gave him a glass of water. The priest puts his hand on him, puts a crucifix on him, sprinkles him with holy water, ⁓ starts praying for him, looks at his eyes, he goes, This guy is come this this young man is completely healed. He said, Jesse, did you do what I asked? I said, Yeah, father, I did exactly what you asked me to do. Where's his father? Looked at him, he's right over here, Mr. Garcia. He turned around and said, Mr. Garcia shook his head. He goes, Congratulations, you just drove that demon out of your son. He goes, Me, no, no, but it's me. Power of his fatherhood. Power of his father. Yes. Then the priest told him. He said, He said, Because you're his father, you have headship, you have juridical authority over him, fourth commandment, natural law and divine positive law. The demon will recede. Will see to your authority and and retract and leave because you have lawful authority over this son. And I do because he's baptized. So he's my child through baptism. He's your child through natural law. So you and I have the authority to bless him and drive demons out. Guess what? Most people don't know this. This is Catholic, this is normative Catholic teaching that. Every week when I go and lecture it on my radio podcast, I'm developing this and I'm I'm finishing up a book on this. But by the way, Father Ripper just wrote a book on this. It just came out. It's a 565-page book. What I just said right now is in the book. It's called Dominion. ⁓ I got that. Yeah, that's for the priesthood. Yeah, it's in that book. What I just said right now: the juridical authority of a Catholic priest and the earthly father. over their family. And so if you want to know the lines of authority, Father Ripper just clearly laid them out because a lot of people they don't know this. They start getting nightmares or seeing apparitions or smoke, mist in their bedroom at night, or hearing voices, and they go round down the street to ⁓ you know ⁓ Susie from Parish Council who has a deliverance ministry on Tuesday nights in the basement and and susie and 10 women are laying hands on you. That's not the way you drive demons out. They have no authority to do that. They have no natural law authority, no divine positive law authority. You take the person to mom and dad and have mom and dad bless them and lay hands on them. And if mom and dad are in a state of grace, their prayers are powerful. Yeah. We'll talk about that next month. Amen. What a teaser. Man, what a tease. Yeah, we will definitely plan something, Jesse. Again, it's been an honor. Thank you so much for coming on, and we'll look forward to next week. Father, give us your blessing. Give us your priestly best blessing. If I don't I will, you we're gonna bookend this message. We we started with a patter, we're gonna we're gonna end with the ave. ⁓ beautiful. Nomadri, Sephili Espiritu Santi, Amen. Ave Maria, Grazia plena, dominus tecum, benedicta tua mullieribus.
